A note on the tax side
Deductions available on housing loan interest and principal depend on the regime elected, whether the property is self-occupied or let out, and the year in which possession was taken. This calculator deliberately does not model them, because the answer turns on facts it does not ask for. Ask the firm if the tax position is what you are trying to work out.
